Footwear brand Kizik is set to launch its inaugural experiential pop-up store in New York.

Footwear brand Kizik is set to launch its inaugural experiential pop-up store in New York, aiming to showcase its innovative hands-free technology and initiate its “most ambitious phase of growth” as outlined in a recent company press release.
Location and features
The pop-up, situated at 127 Greene Street in SoHo, will debut on Friday and continue through Sunday. Visitors can expect to encounter five new shoe designs while immersing themselves in Kizik’s fresh brand platform titled “Motion is Magic.” The store will boast visual installations that dynamically respond to movement, offering an engaging and interactive shopping experience.
Brick-and-Mortar expansion
This pop-up event marks the commencement of Kizik’s expansion into brick-and-mortar retail. With plans to extend its presence to over 500 wholesale locations in 2024, in addition to establishing six proprietary stores, Kizik aims to assess the performance of these initial outlets. Should they prove successful, the company anticipates opening an additional nine stores by the end of 2025, bringing the total to 15.
Future store locations
Kizik, founded in 2017, is primed for growth through the nationwide rollout of its stores, forging new partnerships with wholesalers, and venturing into international markets. Future store sites include prominent destinations such as the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota; the King of Prussia mall in Pennsylvania; and Newbury Street in Boston.
Brand strategy and marketing campaign
Central to Kizik’s growth strategy is its “Motion is Magic” brand platform and marketing initiative, crafted in collaboration with Yard NYC, the agency responsible for Kizik’s revamped branding and logo. The brand platform is slated to be integrated across various channels, encompassing Kizik’s website, social media platforms, and both digital and physical retail outlets. Expect to see advertisements across out-of-home displays, connected TV, paid social media, streaming platforms, and more, as Kizik seeks to amplify its brand presence and captivate audiences worldwide.
