eBay will open a unique store for fans of sneakers.
eBay will open a unique store in London for fans of fashion sneakers. It is a pop-up conceptual shopping space Swap ‘Em Out, which will open in Soho on March 25.
eBay will offer its customers to exchange old sneakers for new ones worth up to three times as much. Some of the sneakers available at the store include rare and expensive models – the Nike x Off White Jordan 1 “Euro,” the Nike Jordan 4 Kaws, and the Salomon XT-6 Adv Dover Street Market Silver. Access to the store will be paid. eBay will distribute tickets on its website through an auction.
“Exchange has always been inherent in us sneaker enthusiasts. In these difficult times, when the cost of living makes buying your next pair increasingly difficult, we wanted to offer a solution that fits the community’s needs,” commented ebay UK sneaker category manager Wahaj Shabbir.
eBay continues its fashion collaborations by opening a new retail space in London. Last year, the online marketplace already collaborated with Morley’s by opening a pop-up space selling rare sneakers in one of London’s most popular stores.
The store features streetwear and footwear from luxury and athletic brands, including Nike, New Balance, Louis Vuitton and Bape.
