The auditorium will have 382 seats – standard, premium and director’s boxes.
The Dubai Hills Mall will feature the biggest movie screen in the Middle East. The project is implemented by Dubai Holding Entertainment. The opening of Roxy Xtreme cinema is scheduled for August 31, 2022. In the multiplex there will be 15 halls, including 8 class silver and 7 level platinum – they will open in October.
The total area of the giant screen, which will set a record for the entire MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), will be 423 sq. meters. The auditorium will have 382 reclining seats. The hall will be divided into three parts – standard, premium and 12 director’s boxes – luxurious comfortable boxes located above the auditorium.
According to the CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment Fernando Eiroa, the 15-screen multiplex “will redefine the cinema-going experience for the UAE audiences with new levels of luxury across all our screens” and the huge screen “will provide an unforgettable experience for all types of movie lovers.

The press release noted that the comfort of the director’s boxes will be comparable to first class on an airplane. The boxes will be equipped with wireless charging, heated seats and a personal turntable. Guests will be offered to order food from the cinema’s restaurant before the start of the movie or directly during the movie.
All auditoriums in the new Roxy Xtreme multiplex will be equipped with NEC Laser Projectors and DOLBY Atmos. Tickets will be available through the Roxy Cinemas website and mobile app.
