American streetwear brand Supreme recently announced the opening of its flagship store in Milan. It is the first opening of the new store since the San Francisco flagship launched in 2019.
Ahead of the store’s official opening, Supreme unveiled the location and shared the first photos of the new retail space. The outlet will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
The store is located in the San Marco neighborhood of Corso Garibaldi, 20. The store is distinguished by its tall panoramic windows and interior décor with sculptures by Marc Gonzalez and art prints by Nate Lowman. One wall of the store is completely covered in floor-to-ceiling photo prints, while the perimeter of the rest of the space features Supreme merchandise displayed on shelves and racks.
For Supreme, the Milan store will be the 13th official brand store globally and the first one to open in two years. The brand was founded in New York in 1994 and focused on hip-hop culture, rock music, and youth culture in general. The brand produces clothing, accessories, and skateboards, which are actively marketed, including aftermarket. In 2017, 50% of the company was acquired by investment fund The Carlyle Group.
The acquisition is expected to finalize by the end of 2024.
