Inspired by Hong Kong’s Cha Chaan Teng culture, the pop-up blends classic dishes and exclusive merchandise.
CLOT and adidas have teamed up to launch a pop-up café in Shanghai, drawing inspiration from the iconic Cha Chaan Teng culture of Hong Kong. Set to open on October 12, the CLOT CAFE will serve popular Hong Kong dishes like rice noodles, satay beef, french toast, and pineapple buns, all presented on specially branded CLOT tableware. Exclusive product launch and limited-edition merchandise Alongside the nostalgic café experience, the pop-up will mark the launch of the CLOT x adidas Superstar, which features a tan and brown color scheme inspired by Hong Kong-style milk tea. The shoes will be available for purchase at the café and select JUICE STORE locations across China, along with other limited-edition commemorative apparel. The pop-up will run through October 31, with the Superstar available while supplies last. Embracing a vintage 1980s Hong Kong aesthetic, the café space incorporates retro tiles and neon signs, transporting visitors into the timeless charm of a classic Cha Chaan Teng.
Spanning 200 square meters, the café serves as a cultural bridge between China and Italy.
