Chanel Beauty is preparing to open its new shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The brand has decided to change location and relocate from Soho, joining a long list of companies in the prettier shopping corridor.
The new Chanel Beauty shop will be located on North 6th Street next to Berry street, surrounded by flagship global brands – D.S. & Durga, Le Labo and Diptyque brands, Glossier and more. The retail space will feature a full range of beauty products, care products and accessories.
The company plans to introduce Byredo’s signature aesthetic to the new shop, which redefines the traditional “beauty counter” approach. It is not yet known whether the new shop will open permanently or whether Chanel will choose a location for the pop-up store.
It was also revealed today that Gossip Girl star Whitney Peake had become Chanel Beauty’s new brand ambassador. The actress has already worked with the fashion house as a brand ambassador in the United States, and now the partnership is going international.
