Tesco recreates ‘60s store for Goodwood Revival

The supermarket chain is preparing to reproduce a 1960s store, with a stock of genuine products.  It has restored a 1950s Tesco delivery van and will be selling retro games and toys which have been specially produced.  The delivery has already been seen delivering toys to Great Ormond Street Hospital’s on site school in London.
Goodwood debuts, Tesco
This will be the first appearance of F&F at Goodwood, where they will launch their new vintage inspired Duchess garments in an exclusive area manned by a group of designers and buyers, offering styling tips.
Euphorium bakery will also be making their debut appearance at Goodwood and will be offering visitors fresh samples.  They have created a special Good éclair, which was extremely popular at the time.
Tesco’s main store will offer products, such as Marathon bars, Tunnocks’ tea cakes and cream soda, for sale.  These items will be sold in ‘60s-style branding and packaging.  Tesco, in collaboration with House of Marbles, will offer authentic games and toys from that era, for sale.
People camping at Millsfield campsite will have the opportunity to Click & Collect their groceries over the weekend.  They will be able to collect their orders from one of two delivery vans which have been specially designed.
Those who are not able to make the trip to Goodwood will be able to stroll down the aisles by using Google Places to view the vintage products in a virtual store tour.
