HELIOS S.A. is a multiplex cinema operator in Poland, established in 1992. In 2007 it bought Kinoplex cinema network. Currently, Helios S.A. is the largest cinema operator in Poland; it is one of Poland’s major players. On August 31, 2010, Agora became the majority shareholder of Helios.
These are modern, well-equipped cinemas with esthetic interiors and inspiring
architecture. The Helios cinema network is equipped with high – tech audio – video systems ensuring high quality of film screening, including up – to – date 3D technology in Dolby 3D Digital system. The repertoire of Helios cinemas includes the latest 2D and 3D productions.
The network of Helios cinemas consists of 33 modern multiplexes and one traditional cinema located in Polish cities, among other things, in Warsaw, Lodz, Gdansk and Wroclaw. Altogether, cinemas included Helios network offer 180 screens and over 38 thousand seats.
