About Hang Ten

Expressed by a pair of bare feet, the brand name “Hang Ten” originated in the 1960s in the Southern California, U.S. At that time, the merchandise marketed under “Hang Ten” comprised primarily basic, quality apparel based on an American lifestyle.

Hang Ten Group Holdings Limited, an investment holding company, engages in the design, marketing, retail, and wholesale of apparel and accessories primarily in Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macau, Japan, Africa, and the People’s Republic of China. The company offers a range of casual wear and apparels, including shirts, polo shirts, tee-shirts, vests, skirts, pants, jeans, and jackets for kids, men, and ladies; and accessories, such as caps, socks shoes, bags, belts, and umbrellas. It also owns, licenses, and manages trademarks, as well as provides catering management services. Hang Ten does not have its production facilities and sources it’s products from some Taiwan and Hong Kong suppliers. Those production facilities are located in China and Vietnam and ship the products directly to the offices of different countries.
The company distributes its products through its distributors in various countries. It operated a retail network of nearly 796 retail stores under the Hang Ten, H&T, and Arnold Palmer brands. The company is based in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. As of February 16, 2012, Hang Ten Group Holdings Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of Li & Fung (Retailing) Limited.
