Store type:Retailer
As Hockhua developed, it began to bring in herbs, drugs and health products. In 1992, Hockhua moved into retailing of conventional medicines and remedies on a full scale.
Hockhua’s retail business was driven initially by Hockhua Tonics and Oriental Herbal Tea. As the demand for traditional medicines and treatments increased, Hockhua expanded and restructured its services to meet the market’s needs. It strengthened its retail offerings while ensuring its competitive edge with reasonable pricing for quality products.
Hockhua now consists of 6 trading companies, 53 traditional medicine retail outlets and 15 oriental herbal tea stores, throughout Singapore. By 2012, our turnover reached $110 million. We celebrated our 23rd anniversary with our consecutive five years achievement of the “Superbrands” award.
