The launch of the new project is a part of the brand’s renewed growth strategy.
British fashion retailer Monsoon has launched its own marketplace featuring third-party brands. At the initial stage, the online marketplace brings together products from more than 40 sustainable brands.
Monsoon Bazar offers customers women’s and children’s clothing and accessories, as well as home goods. In the future, the range of marketplace will be expanded
Brands represented on the platform include Frugi, Trotters, UpCircle and Superga. The Monsoon Bazar marketplace itself is integrated into the manufacturer’s main site as a micro-section.
“We’ve been searching [brands] for a long time to create this selection of exquisite merchandise… Here are the best brands that we admire and manufacturers that inspire us. Browse through original, eclectic and desirable merchandise, each with a unique approach to their craft and a fascinating story,” commented Monsoon.
According to Naomi Robertson, Monsoon’s director of merchandising and purchasing, the idea for the marketplace came “out of a desire to support growing entrepreneurial brands in entering new markets.” The launch of the site was part of the brand’s renewed growth strategy.
