Silver Lake Mall

About this mall

The Silver Lake Mall was built along Highway 95 at the north edge of Coeur d’ Alene, ID in the late 1980s. Coeur d’ Alene has since become one of the most popular destinations in the Pacific Northwest for recreation and relocation.

The Silver Lake Mall is a medium-sized mall housing favorite retailers like Macy’s, JC Penny’s, Sears and Foot Locker. It’s appeal however, come from the small shops and vendors that always occupy the aisles and smaller units. These vendors are, in large part, local shops that have enjoyed a wide following and retail success. Thanksgiving and Christmas is an especially exciting time at the Silver Lake Mall. During the winter months, Coeur d’Alene is a favorite spot for skiers, and snowbirds. This mall is always busy with a diverse crowd.

The most attractive aspect of this mall is its location. Traveling east on Interstate 90, a quick turn on Highway 95 in Coeur d’ Alene puts you on route to the mall. Approximately five miles north, the Canfield or Hanley side street exits will immediately place you in the parking lot of the Silver Lake Mall. The designers of this mall property anticipated a growth in traffic, so the parking at Silver Lake is huge. Its is always easy to find a parking spot at this mall, even when the area high school kids break for lunch!

The Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d’Alene doesn’t have an endless amount of big name shops, but it’s easy to find and fun to visit!
