Robinsons Place Naga

Robinsons Place Naga is the smallest mall in this set within Robinsons Land’s portfolio at approximately 40,000 square meters of gross leasable area, but it occupies a distinct strategic position as Robinsons Land’s only property in the Bicol Region. The mall opened on December 19, 2009, along Roxas Avenue in Brgy. Triangulo, Naga City, Camarines Sur, the same neighborhood where SM City Naga had opened seven months earlier in May 2009. The two malls operate side by side on the same commercial corridor, dividing the central Bicol retail market.

Anchor tenants include the Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Supermarket, Handyman, the Robinsons Cinema, and a food court tailored to the surrounding Naga catchment. The mall’s smaller scale relative to SM City Naga’s expanded 110,000 square meter footprint reflects the secondary positioning that Robinsons accepted when opening the property, with the tenant mix targeting the mid-tier Bicol consumer and the daily essentials shoppers from the surrounding residential subdivisions.

The Triangulo location places Robinsons Place Naga in Naga City’s Central Business District II, the newer commercial district that has developed since the 2000s along Ninoy and Cory Aquino Avenue and the connecting Roxas Avenue. The catchment overlaps substantially with SM City Naga’s, drawing from Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Albay, and the surrounding Bicol provinces. Robinsons Land has continued to develop additional Bicol properties since 2009, but Robinsons Place Naga remains the principal Robinsons destination in the region.
