Robinsons Galleria opened on October 17, 1990, as the first major Robinsons mall and the property that introduced Robinsons Land Corporation as a serious competitor to Ayala Land and SM Prime in the Philippine shopping mall market. The mall is located along EDSA and Ortigas Avenue in the Ortigas Center, Quezon City, immediately adjacent to the MRT-3 Ortigas station and the historic Ortigas Center business district that hosts major banks, corporate headquarters, and the San Miguel Corporation tower.

The mall contains approximately 216,000 square meters of gross leasable area distributed across the original Galleria, the West Lane expansion, and the connected Holiday Inn Galleria Manila hotel. Anchor tenants include the Robinsons Department Store, Robinsons Supermarket, Toys R Us, Marks & Spencer, the Robinsons Cinema with several screens, and a substantial restaurant cluster on the upper levels. The Galleria Activity Center serves as the central event space and has hosted major concerts, brand launches, and seasonal exhibitions throughout the property’s history.

The Ortigas location places Robinsons Galleria at the convergence of EDSA, Ortigas Avenue, and the Asian Development Bank corridor, one of the highest-traffic commercial junctions in Metro Manila. The catchment includes the Ortigas Center workforce, the residents of San Antonio Village and the Ortigas residential subdivisions, plus the substantial commuter flow through MRT-3 Ortigas station. Robinsons Galleria operates within an Ortigas retail map that includes SM Megamall, Shangri-La Plaza, and the Podium, with the four malls forming the largest retail concentration in the Ortigas-Mandaluyong CBD.
