Promenade at Chenal joined Tanger’s portfolio on 10 December 2024, in a purchase of about $73 million. It was the company’s first Arkansas property and its second full-price open-air centre after Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville, both of them outside the outlet format Tanger built its portfolio on.
The centre measures 270,000 square feet at 17711 Chenal Parkway in west Little Rock. Tanger records 3.1 million visits a year, a trade area of 619,000 residents in 252,000 households, average income of $98,000, and a metropolitan population of 764,872.
Apple, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters trade here, and Tanger describes all three as the only locations of their brands in Arkansas. Sephora, lululemon, Athleta, Altar’d State, DSW, HomeGoods, J.Jill, Kendra Scott, Pandora, LoveSac, Sleep Number and Versona fill out the retail roster, with Lush and Bath and Body Works in beauty and an AMC theatre on the site.
Regional and locally rooted operators add another layer to the roster: Sissy’s Log Cabin in jewellery, Gearhead Outfitters, Rye51 and Houndstooth Clothing Co. in apparel, Big Orange and City Silo Table and Pantry in food. Sullivan’s Steakhouse, YaYa’s Euro Bistro, Local Lime and A.W. Lin’s Asian Cuisine complete the dining line.
