Linklaters acted as the representative for CBRE Global Investors European Shopping Centre Fund (CBRE Global Investors ESCF) during the purchase of Galeria Mazovia shopping centre based in Plock.
Linklaters Warsaw was involved in and offered advice on all the stages of the transaction, from structuring the deal, doing due diligence, negotiating the sale, drafting the transaction documents, handling the finance issues, through to the final closing of the deal.
Janusz Dzianachowski stated that this was the first purchase of CBRE Global Investors ESCF in both Poland and the CEE. He said that they were proud to have been of assistance in advising their client during this challenging transaction. Galeria Mazovia is an extremely high-performance asset and he is positive that it fits into the growing portfolio of the ESCF.
Linklaters has in the past advised another fund which was managed by CBRE Global Investors when they invested in logistics based in Poland.
