Since the start of this year, it has already opened 15 new stores. The total number of new stores the brand is looking to open across Europe this year is 55.  It is considering 25 Russian and Eastern Europe franchise stores, with the group controlling the remaining 30 to be placed mainly in Germany, France, Spain and Poland.
Guess recently re-opened its Corso Buenos Aires flagship store.  During the opening of this 400m² store, the company stated that this was an important sign of its desire to consolidate the brand throughout Europe.  They said that this is one of their main stores, a basic element of the brand’s business policy and within the company.  This is an iconic place which represents the image and value of Guess.
During 2013, the American fashion brand declared a turnover of €1.89bn, which is 3% below the previous year’s figures.  Its European turnover declined 4% to €657m.  The brand currently owns 1708 stores in 90 countries, of which 627 are based in the Middle East and Europe.
