Sustainable footwear brand Allbirds Inc. is expanding its reach in Europe and Latin America through new distributor partnerships, bolstering its international presence. Effective July 1, Allbirds has appointed Chris Sports, based in Switzerland, as the exclusive distributor for Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland. Meanwhile, Uruguay-based distributor Wystam will manage Allbirds’ footprint across Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay, bringing the brand closer to key Latin American consumers. Strategic growth through international partnerships Annie Mitchell, Allbirds’ CFO, emphasized the strategic importance of these partnerships following successful distributor transitions in five other global markets last year. “Adding the expertise of Chris Sports and Wystam will allow us to drive significant growth and build brand value in these crucial regions,” Mitchell noted. A growing network of global distributors With these new agreements, Allbirds now maintains distribution partnerships with 11 companies worldwide, marking a substantial move in the brand’s goal to become a global leader in sustainable lifestyle products.
