Apple is preparing to open a new store at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey. Thus, for the first time, the company has officially confirmed plans to launch a monostore.
The opening will take place late next week, on December 3. However, in accordance with state law, the store will be closed on Sunday. The Apple Store will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The outlet will follow the design used in all recent Apple stores. The company has not yet released photos of the new store, but said it will include an area to take online orders, a Genius Bar for hardware support and Today at Apple sessions.
For American Dream, attracting a new tenant in Apple is especially important. The nearly 3 million-square-foot mall is the second-largest in the U.S. after the Mall of America in Minnesota.
Earlier, Apple announced the opening of a new store in Seoul. The monostore is located in Myeongdong, a major shopping district in the South Korean capital. The first customers received special gifts from Apple on the day of opening. It is expected that a similar campaign will take place at the opening of the store in American Dream.
