Zara opened a flagship store in an innovative format in Valencia. The retail space is located on Don Juan de Austria street, where Boulevard Austria previously operated. Inditex Group has incorporated its new store into the original façade, maintaining the brand’s signature aesthetic, which traditionally opens in a “white box” format.

The store, which combines two monostores Zara Woman and Zara Man that used to work in the neighborhood, is located on three floors and occupies about 6 thousand square meters. After the opening Zara also intends to keep its flagship in the shopping center El Saler on Colon street in Valencia, writes The Fashion Network.

In the new store Zara presents men’s, women’s and children’s clothing collections, as well as sports line Athleticz, clothing for home, shoes and accessories, as well as collaborations created with Karl Templer and Narciso Rodriguez.

The flagship also has an exclusive Zara Beauty area with cosmetics and grooming products, as well as a makeup studio staffed by professional stylists. The total staff of the new megamagazin has 150 employees. An underwear department with exclusive fitting rooms has been designed as a separate showroom, the third such experiment by Zara after stores in Madrid and San Sebastian.

Inditex said that the new store meets the LEED Gold certification category for sustainable building. Innovative services for customers include an online shopping collection point with a robotic hopper, as well as Click & Try (allows to book fitting rooms online), Click & Go (ordering goods online with pickup in store) and Pay & Go – paying for goods by scanning QR codes without visiting traditional cash desks.
