The three-level store has a total area of more than 12,300 square feet.
Fashion house Valentino has opened its new flagship store in New York. The boutique is located at 654 Madison Avenue. The three-level store has a total area of more than 12,300 square feet (1,140 square meters) and represents the Italian brand’s new retail concept.
The new retail space features an ornate columned façade, large storefronts and a massive interior. Inside, seven-meter ceilings and exposed steel trim mirror the rough concrete finishes that infuse the space with modernity.
Valentino’s new flagship showcases its ready-to-wear collections, shoe line, and accessories. The interior is decorated with custom velvet armchairs, white Botticino and black Nero Marquina marble, and exclusive lighting.
The store also has two VIP areas with lounges and dressing rooms where customers can shop in a more exclusive environment. The store’s top floor features temporary art exhibitions created in partnership with New York’s Magazzino Italian Art Museum. The boutique’s gallery houses a collection of life-size paintings by Mario Schifano.
