Dorothy Perkins

Dorothy Perkins is a British women’s fashion retailer with its range of clothes and branded fashion goods. The company was founded in 1909 and operated under the name H.P. Newman; however, its trading name was changed to Dorothy Perkins in 1919. During the 1960s the company was run by the Farmer family. Dorothy Perkins was best known for its tights, lingerie and sleepwear collections; however, its other clothes had a hard time competing with other brands from competitor Lewis Separates. The Arcadia Group purchased the company in 1979. 

Today, Dorothy Perkins has a much broader range of products that include dresses, knitwear, jersey tops, coats, denim, tailoring, fashion accessories, shoes, lingerie, maternity wear, and jewelry. The company offers sizes for most of its products from size 6 to size 22. In recent years, Dorothy Perkins has become a popular international brand with its products available in several countries like; UK, Ireland, Bahrain, Kuwait, Croatia, Iceland, Cyprus, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Spain, Saudi Arabia and many other countries.
