TikTok Shop officially launched in the United States.
TikTok Shop officially launched in the United States. The popular social media platform has introduced an e-commerce feature, opening shopping opportunities for 150 million American users.

Among the available tools for making purchases is the ability for companies to create custom product collections on their profile page. The ‘Shop’ tab allows businesses to showcase their products, while shoppers can view product recommendations and manage orders on one tab.
The company has also introduced the TikTok Shop Seller Center app to support businesses in launching their e-commerce presence within the app. This standalone application includes tools enabling sellers to integrate from other e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify seamlessly.
TikTok Shop has also launched an affiliate program that allows creators to connect with sellers based on commissions. The company handles warehousing, packaging, and delivery of products, in addition to collaborating with third-party payment platforms.
“Today, we’re excited to announce a new way for people to now find and shop for their favorite products with the full launch of TikTok Shop in the US. With community-driven trends like #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt inspiring people to discover and share the products they love, TikTok is creating a new shopping culture and sending products like Lion Latches and Love and Pebble beauty pops flying off shelves,” commented the company.
