Jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. announced the opening a renovated flagship store in Tokyo. It is located in an upscale location in the Ginza neighborhood. The total area of the store is more than 9,500 square feet.

The flagship was renovated and opened in a new format, presenting customers with the latest brand concept. It was previously unveiled following a four-year renovation of Tiffany’s flagship store in New York City.
The Ginza store, which opened in 1972, was only the third flagship outside the United States in the brand’s history. The store moved to a new location in 1996, and the last renovation of the retail space took place in 2008. The building’s exterior was designed by leading Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
The interiors of the two-level flagship are decorated with numerous works of art, and the store windows are decorated with real diamonds, which emphasizes the brand’s aesthetics.
The first floor of the renovated store features the signature Tiffany T, Tiffany HardWear and Tiffany Lock collections. A special Elsa Peretti is also dedicated to one of the legendary Tiffany designers. The second floor features a room with Tiffany’s Love & Engagement collection, featuring engagement and wedding rings. Inside the flagship, a private lounge resembles a luxurious living room with artistic and contemporary furnishings.
Tiffany & Co. plans to expand further in the Japanese market. Following the relaunch of the flagship, the company is preparing to open a new store, Tiffany & Co. Omotesando in early September.
