A growing interest in Realme products could lead to the brand opening retail stores around the world.
Although the Realme brand has only recently emerged – in 2018 – it has already managed to win fans around the world and become very popular. And yet, in 2020, it even managed to enter the top ten largest manufacturers of smartphones, which can be called not just good but excellent. In some countries, Realme managed to break into the top five brands. An in the Philippines, smartphones from the company even managed to become the best-selling, taking first place in sales.
According to data from the analytical agency Counterpoint Technology Market Research, for the third quarter of 2020, the world sold 14.8 million smartphones Realtime sold — 45% more than it sold in 2019. If we compare this result with the second quarter of the same 2020, the growth is 132%.
It is not surprising that with such excellent results, the company does not want to rest on its laurels but plans to strengthen its position and increase brand awareness. The logical step seems to be opening its network of branded stores, which will sell smartphones and other RealMe equipment. To date, under this brand, there are also headphones, smartphones, “smart” watches, and other electronics. And there is no doubt that the range will continue to increase.
However, the company has not yet made any official statements about plans to open a network of branded stores. We learned about this from the Chinese resource Gizchina, which writes about technology. However, no details have been disclosed so far.
