Phase two of the expansion project Dubai Festival City Mall is set to be launched. It will have more space for lifestyle, fashion and special dining options, whilst overlooking the superb Dubai Creek.
The new project is set to result in a bigger Festival Square which will connect the dining locations at the waterfront, allowing guests to relax, dine and shop while obtaining a view of the Dubai Creek and the beautiful skyline. The location of the mall, along with familiar names and distinct concepts will add splendor to the exciting surrounds and allow tourists, families and residents to benefit.
This second phase of the expansion at the mall indicates the commitment of the Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate to their stakeholders and the growth of Dubai and is an important feature in their planned expansion plan.
This plan includes the welcoming of H&M, an iconic global name. The H&M stores, measuring 18500ft² is situated on the ground level of the North Crescent Walk in the center. This is an important addition to the existing retail mix of Max, Emax and Centrepoint which opened during June 2014.
Murray Bell, the managing director of retail at the Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate, stated that the opening of the H&M store at Dubai Festival City Mall is an indication that leading regional and international retailers have confidence in the planned expansion, which will result in the enhancement and strengthening of the dining, leisure and retail offers on hand.
