New Fashion Wing opens at Del Amo Fashion Center

About 100 retail brands will take space in the new two-level Fashion Wing of the Del Amo Fashion.

The new Fashion Wing is flanked by a massive two-level 140,000 square feet Nordstrom store. This Nordstrom store is the 28th in the Simon portfolio.



International brands laying claim to store openings in the new Fashion Wing, many of which will be exclusive to the South Bay area, include: Hugo Boss, a two-level H&M, a two-level Zara, J. Crew, Victoria’s Secret, Guess/Marciano, Kate Spade, Express, Vince Camuto, Brooks Brothers, lululemon athletica, Arhaus, Uniqlo, Michael Kors, and Brooks Brothers. More stores are scheduled to open before thanksgiving.

Aside the new shops, some restaurants will make a touchdown in the new Del Amo’s Patio Cafes. Prominent among the lot is Pink’s Hot Dogs, a 65-year old heavyweight. Open Sesame and Sumo Salad are other noteworthy mentions. FRIDA, Din Tai Fung, a relocated Lucille’s Smokehouse, and Great Maple are first-time residents of the new “Restaurant Row” situated along the Hawthorne Boulevard.
To eliminate concerns of the resulting increase in volume of shoppers; a new, four-level, 2,000-car parking space is provided, complete with a parking guidance system to seamlessly direct motorists to open spaces.

The construction and opening of the Fashion Wing is but one phase of the Del Amo’s transformation. The next phase will see renovation of common areas between Home & Furnishings, Macy’s Men, and Sears. Top-grade changes to be made include featuring new tile floors, LED lighting, new glass handrails, and new entrances. This phase is slated for completion in 2016.
