Porto’s metro has a station named after this outlet: VC Fashion Outlet/Modivas on Line B toward Póvoa de Varzim, a direct ride from the city, with the A28 coastal motorway alongside. VIA Outlets presents Vila do Conde Porto as the only premium fashion outlet in northern Portugal.
The extension VIA Outlets opened in November 2025 added 6,500 sqm of GLA around a glass atrium, with capacity for 31 stores and four restaurants, raising the total by more than 25 percent to about 31,000 sqm. New names included Zara Home, Pandora, Vans, Volcom, New Era, Pedro del Hierro, Lottusse, Lola Casademunt and Tommy Hilfiger Kids, and Nike reopened with more than 2,000 sqm, its largest store in Portugal.
Tourists account for nearly a quarter of visitors, which is why the expansion added a VIP lounge, and road access reaches into Galicia, about an hour and a half from Vigo. The center opened in 2004, passed to VIA Outlets in 2017 and was refurbished in 2021, so the 2025 phase is the third stage of one repositioning; VIA reports brand sales up 10 percent since the extension opened.
The expansion was a finalist for Best Refurbishment Project at the MAPIC Awards 2026. VIA Outlets has said a further growth phase and a new building in the retail park opposite the outlet are under consideration.
