Adidas, Arc’teryx, Salomon and Swarovski trade alongside them, a mix weighted toward sport and outdoor that suits a catchment of alpine visitors in both winter and summer as well as residents of eastern Switzerland. VIA reports footfall up 43 percent year on year since the extension opened, and around 200 new jobs.
A new four-story car park raised capacity to 1,550 spaces and holds Switzerland’s largest fast-charging car park, run on renewable power, while the chalet-style open-air layout carries through the new phase.
