Spring Hill Mall was demolished in stages through 2025, and the Village of West Dundee is leading the redevelopment of the site.
Spring Hill Mall was a regional shopping mall in West Dundee, Illinois, developed by Homart Development Company and later owned by General Growth Properties.
The mall had five anchor stores: Carson Pirie Scott, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Macy’s and Sears.
The mall straddled two municipalities. The two anchor wings that held Carson Pirie Scott and Kohl’s are located in Carpentersville, Illinois.
