About this mall

Jessheim Storsenter is one of Olav Thon Group’s principal Akershus retail assets, established in its current form in 2003 in central Jessheim along the Storgata arterial axis approximately 40 kilometres north of central Oslo. The 30,000-sqm regional centre houses approximately 80 stores across two retail levels, anchoring the upper Romerike retail map between the central Oslo pedestrian retail and the broader northern Akershus and Hedmark provincial residential catchments.

The format combines a Meny supermarket anchor with mid-tier fashion volume across the retail floors and a dining and services cluster serving the Jessheim residential demographic and the broader Ullensaker municipality population. International vertical apparel chains, Norwegian specialty retailers, and accessible mid-market fashion brands populate the tenant lineup, reflecting the broad residential demographic across the upper Romerike provincial belt.

The catchment draws from Oslo Airport Gardermoen approximately 8 kilometres east, adding the airport business cluster and logistics sector workforce to the Ullensaker and Eidsvoll municipal residential base. The E6 motorway provides direct connectivity from central Oslo and the broader Innlandet province alongside the airport-bound traffic flow, giving the centre a secondary daytime catchment distinct from the residential base.

Within Olav Thon Group’s portfolio, Jessheim Storsenter complements the operator’s Sandvika Storsenter, Storo Storsenter, Strommen Storsenter, and Vinterbro Senter Oslo-metropolitan flagships. The current configuration consolidated two adjacent legacy centres into a single property: Fakkelsenteret, originally opened in 1968 as the Jessheim torch-themed centre and acquired by Olav Thon in 1998, and HK-Senteret, established in 1979 by Harald Kværner on the family’s grocery site. The 2003 merger combined the two adjacent properties into the unified Jessheim Storsenter that defines the asset under Olav Thon ownership.
