CityPlace carried three names inside five years before returning to its first. It became Rosemary Square in April 2019, traded for a period as The Square, and reverted to CityPlace on 1 May 2024. Related Companies developed the West Palm Beach property and holds it through Related Ross.
The AMC multiplex closed at the end of April 2023 and was demolished later that year. An office tower reported at 480,000 square feet is going up on the site, which converts an entertainment box into workplace space.
The operator counts more than 50 shops and restaurants. Eataly opened in December 2025 across more than 23,000 square feet, and Birkenstock, Rivian, Equinox, Alo, Reformation, Bluemercury, Crate and Barrel and RH trade alongside it, with Fuku, Moxies, True Food Kitchen, Felice, Sloan’s and El Camino on the dining line.
The wider block carries uses that a retail scheme on its own would not. The Laurel added 322 apartments in 2024, the Hilton West Palm Beach completed a $25 million renovation of its 400 rooms presented in November 2023, and Cleveland Clinic Florida has leased 120,000 square feet in 15 CityPlace for an opening planned in 2027.
