Adidas Terrex, the outdoor division of the German sports giant, has opened its first flagship store. A retail space of 370 square meters opened its doors on Sendlinger Strasse in Munich, a popular shopping district using a street-retail format.
The first Adidas Terrex flagship store in Europe promotes sustainability with a focus on outdoor wear and footwear. The Adidas Terrex store is the “most environmentally friendly store in history.” The design of the store features the use of resource-saving and recyclable materials.
The Adidas Terrex store was created in partnership with the athletes who work with the brand. The outlet offers a full range of Terrex products, including hiking, mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking, and numerous winter sports.
According to Retail Detail, the new store of Adidas also relies on digital technology, wherein the store has an interactive wall with shoes and close cooperation with the local professional community. Sports events, seminars, and lectures involving athletes and experts will be held weekly in the store.
The store is located in the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon.
