Hard Rock Hotel and Casino includes new outlet mall

An announcement of a planned $80m entertainment district by Cherokee Nation Businesses will potentially create 1000 jobs.

The announcement by CNB outlined their plan to partner with Woodmont Outlet to build an outlet mall which will be connected to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

The 300000ft² entertainment district will include restaurants, sports bars and extra entertainment venues. CNB is hoping to obtain about 100 retailers for the mall, including Hugo Boss, BCBG and Kate Spade.

The expansion in the area will require a complete reconfiguration of the property and some sections of the golf course may have to be relocated.

The project is set for completion by the end of 2016, according to CNB.
