To achieve its objectives of reactivating the “internal village” the two main themes introduced in restoring the prestige of the place were linked to putting right the walls of this internal village. In the first place, the use of a curtain of white corian has the dual effect of highlighting the sensation of height and the vibration of the place. Secondly, the white veil will be in perpetual dialogue with the wall opposite, made up of a surface of white glass, its shimmering reflections brought to life by both the virtual, overhanging windows that create a shop window casing in bright yellow, and by a smooth window wh ere the light diffused through the translucent wall evokes a sensation of urban energy. The two sequences contribute towards the brightness of the place and define the space in a timeless manner. The materials (corian, glass and wood) will be selected to give the shopping centre warmth, coherence and harmony, with a concern for comfort and quality.
