Palác Flóra offers its visitors on the area of 20,000 square meters four floors of services, 130 brand stores of fashion and entertainment. On the fourth floor, there are restaurants and a multi-cinema Cinema City with a 3D auditorium IMAX, on each floor there is a café or a small refreshments store. For parents, there is a baby corner available, for drivers, there are four-floor underground garages.
Visitors can get to Palác Flóra either in their own cars or by public transport. An exit from Flora subway station on A line leads to the shopping gallery directly from the station hall.
There are also office premises situated in Palác Flóra – 18,000 m2 of one of the best office locations in Prague thanks to the location of Palác Flóra and the parking space available.
Palác Flóra is symbolised by a flower: its logo is a tulip with a peduncle underlining the shopping gallery name. Image of Palác Flóra is connected with two more flowers: a jolly and cheerful picture of a dandelion with glasses and a blooming yellow rose as a flacon of an exclusive perfume symbolising elegance.
The shopping gallery is operated by Flóra - Sen s.r.o., a subsidiary of the developer AFI Europe Group. The company AFI Europe Group commenced its activities in 1997 when it carried out its first investment in the Czech Republic. Since then, it has extended its activities in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia.
The development and investment activities of AFI Europe comprise of a wide range of commercial and real estate projects, including offices, shipping centres, business and logistic centres, and residential projects. In Prague, these include for example Broadway Passage or Korunní dvůr, in Pardubice a shopping centre Pardubice Palace will be opened at Masaryk Square in spring 2008, a unique modern shopping gallery full of fashion and entertainment.
Palác Flóra shopping gallery was opened on 20 March 2003.
Prior to the construction commencement, there was a small park at this place, which was not very much used and not very tidy due to its position. After the commencement of Palác Flóra construction, the garages situated at Jičínská street opposite the site were also changed – a modern hotel and office buildings have been erected here. Together with Palác Flóra, they have impressed the image of a modern and attractive part of the city to this Vinohrady area.
