From Harajuku to global presence

The Japanese streetwear brand comes a long way from its days as a best-kept secret in Harajuku, Tokyo to now a global brand with over 40 retail locations. Inspired by Chicago’s broad range of cultural influences including art institutions, luxury automotive design, futuristic films, and virtual reality, BAPE’s next move to Chicago seems like the perfect move.

Designed to highlight the modern architecture while also incorporating the signature vintage and future aesthetic, the two-story 5,000 square-foot space features a BAPE STA® resin stage along with artworks and fitting rooms that come together to serve as a space for modern art exhibits.

Exclusive Camo capsule collection

The Bape Store Chicago camo capsule will be available exclusively at the new store location. Inspired by bold red and blue hues featured on the city’s flag, the collection is Chicago-focused and also includes a curation of popular souvenirs as well as the brand’s signature items including tees, hoodies, crewnecks, and accessories.
