Aventura Mall delivers the wonderful holiday sensation with its magnificent Santa’s Workshop.
The workshop is designed by Stephen Stefanou of Venue Arts and includes a 60-feet mountain of stacked gleaming, mirrored gift boxes. The mountain of boxes is adorned with cuddly 10-foot teddy bears, 12-foot tall toy soldiers, classic English-style rocking horses and 13-foot candy canes.
Completing the awesome attraction is a storybook 19th-century sleigh pulled by eight reindeer and a rotating 14-point Millennium Star. Adding to the appeal is a display of ornate five-minute holiday light and sounds once every hour to entertain and enthrall visitors. It is located on the lower level of the shopping center near the Bloomingdale outlet.
Elsewhere in the Aventura Mall, there are more holiday attractions to dazzle visitors. A Twinkling Snowfall LED Installation is present at Nordstrom Court gives the thrilling sensation of being swept into the middle of a wintery snowfall that appears to float down through the skylight of the atrium.
The Installation is a testament of the design prowess of Snarkitecture. The continuous motion LED display promotes an immersive experience that will leave visitors flattered.
Moving on, shoppers can take a memorable picture to commemorate the holidays with Santa’s reindeers situated at three locations around the center. The topiary reindeers sitting on lacquered red benches make for a perfect background for a holiday-themed fun photo to share with loved ones and well-wishers.
In nighttime, the holiday attraction blossoms into limelight with approximately one million white lights illuminating 175 huge snowflakes that together spread a cheery glow over the exterior of the mall. Inside, Aventura’s Model Train Station provide an enjoyable fun experience for kids of all ages with multiple trains meandering through an old-time mill, a holiday village, snow-capped mountains and an amusement park.
