Sports giant Adidas announced the opening of its first flagship store in Lagos. With the launch of the new retail space in the Nigerian capital, the brand demonstrates its commitment to the local culture and community.

The concept of the Adidas flagship, unique in West Africa, was designed by the Nigerian architect, creative entrepreneur and founder of cmDesign, Tosin Oshinowo. The façade of the building was inspired by the iconic Makoko corrugated covering in Lagos and the design features innovative materials and energy-saving systems.
The new Adidas store in Lagos combines sport, creativity and culture with a lively atmosphere and exclusive brand collections. Especially for the opening of the mono store, installations by local artists and designers Osa-7, Chinelo Ezewudo, Gbolahan Ayoola and Dennis Osadebe were presented.
624 Akin Adesola Boulevard, Victoria Island outlet, features an expanded selection of clothing and footwear collections, from sports to lifestyle. The store also features a community center, sports café and basketball court.
The statement said, “The adidas Lagos Flagship store features a wide selection of sport and lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and children, and includes sought-after collab collections. Built with inclusivity in mind, the adidas Lagos Flagship is a shopping destination and a community hub.”
The brand announced the opening of a monostore in the "Just Do It" concept in Lagos, Nigeria.
