Developers of the new, immense shopping malls promise to transform shopping into an entertainment hub in the United Arab Emirates.

The project, called Silicon Central, is an impressive three-level building with 81,500 square meters (8.1 hectares or approximately 11 soccer fields). It will have enough space for 220 stores selling a variety of goods and a hypermarket of 9,000 square meters and a department store of 7,800 square meters.
There will also be a movie theater with 12 halls, a family entertainment center of 6,800 square meters, and a gym of 2,500 square meters. It will be possible to satisfy the hunger in one of 24 restaurants and cafes or by visiting one of the food courts, which will reach 21. There is also a parking lot that can accommodate 3,500 cars.
The shopping center is located near the road leading from Dubai to Al Ain, near the Dubai Silicon Oasis theme park of advanced technologies. It is expected that the new mall will be visited by residents of the fast-growing neighborhood whose population already exceeds 500,000 and continues to grow.
The shopping mall developer is Line Investments & Property LLC (LIP), a construction company based in Abu Dhabi, a division of Lulu Group International. At present, it has already built 23 shopping centers in six countries.
