Fort Wayne is a city in the U.S. state of Indiana and the county seat of Allen County. The city is 18 miles west of the Ohio border and 50 miles south of the Michigan border. Fort Wayne is the 76th most populous city in the United States and the second largest in Indiana. Fort Wayne's early-20th century development was influenced by the City Beautiful movement and centered on a "park and boulevard plan". Fort Wayne, as the Convention and Visitors Bureau suggests, has stores "all over town", and it is true that there is plenty of good shopping to be had in the Midwestern city. Glenbrook Square in Fort Wayne is the largest shopping center in Indiana. Also in Fort Wayne is the Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center, a new open-concept mall set up like a small village.
