Bodrum is a port city in Mugla Province, in the southwestern Aegean Region of Turkey. It is located on the southern coast of Bodrum Peninsula, at a point that checks the entry into the Gulf of Gokova, and is also the center of the eponymous district. Bodrum is internationally known for its shopping: the city boasts everything from swanky boutiques to local craft stores. With all of its outdoor bazaars, it is often seems like the city is one gigantic market. The upscale shopper should browse Bodrum’s high-end boutiques, most of which are situated in the shopping district down by the marina. There are a few shopping centres, galleries and arcades in the city including Midtown with all of major Turkish brands for shopping and the large food-court.
