Tehnosila is one of the leading companies in the market of network retail in the field of electronics and home appliance items in Russia. The company was formed in 1993 with an opening of the first of its stores in Moscow. In 1997, all of the locations were incorporated under one brand.
Today, Tehnosila includes over 100 stores located in 60 cities of the country. The company operates in 7 Federal Districts of the country, about 80% of all sales outlets are located outside Moscow and Moscow Region. The combined retail area of the network exceeds 215,000 sq m.
As of 2005, the sales has been carried out through Tehnosila web store that now embraces 17 Russian cities with a combined population of more than 30 mln. people.
After shareholder changeover, the commercial activities under Tehnosila brand are conducted by the BusinessPRO and ServiceTrade companies.
