Nike will open its new Nike Rise concept store in Leeds in 2024. Landsec has announced that the sports giant has joined a long list of international brands that will open their store doors at Trinity Leeds shopping center.
The outlet will total approximately 10,000 square feet. The concept aims to “enhance shopping experiences through innovative digital experiences and services that enliven the sporting pulse of the city”.
It will be the next Nike Rise concept store in the UK in Nike’s portfolio. The new retail project was introduced in the US in 2022, with UK openings of the first stores taking place at London’s Westfield mall in White City and at the Bullring in Birmingham.
The upcoming store is set to feature an innovative Footwear Fastlane, enhanced by digital technology, providing customers with detailed narratives, advantages, and technical details about various footwear products. Additionally, Nike by You personalization will be available, empowering shoppers to customize their new Nike products according to their preferences. Furthermore, a dedicated section for bras and leggings will cater to female athletes, assisting them in discovering the perfect fit for their activewear needs.
Nik Porter, Head of Brand Account Management at Landsec said: “Guests are looking for more from their shopping experience and are seeking out concepts which combine convenience with the opportunity to try something new. As a result, brands are increasingly prioritising prime locations that drive footfall, enable customer service and have an ability to integrate in-store and online shopping experiences. The Nike Rise concept encapsulates this and, with more international brands investing in Leeds, the new store will only enhance the city’s retail offer further.”
Earlier this year, Nike opened the first Rise concept stores in West London and Seoul.
The first fitness studio will open in Los Angeles by the end of 2023.
