Fussy Nation, the independent fashion retailer, has signed a five year lease for a 1707ft² store, which is to be its first outside London. This particular store will offer customers a handpicked, unique selection of men’s and ladies wear from new designers, international designers and boutique labels, and is set to bring Hackett, Hugo Boss, Barbour and Ralph Lauren to Whiteley.
Rock Up chose Whiteley to bring the first thrilling, new climbing experience in the UK to a retail location. It will combine high quality food, soft play and climbing to create a new experience. The site will offer 26 climbs, including speed climbs, moving wall parts, inflatable climbs and much more. It has signed a 10-year lease for an area of 4768ft².
The center continues to experience heavy demand from a wide range of tenants and management is very excited about the introduction of the Rock Up concept.
Plans are already underway for a leisure extension of £18m, which is due to open during summer 2015. The second phase is due to include 30000ft² of added leisure and restaurant space and a nine-screen Cineworld cinema. Almost 75% of the extension has already been let and there are only two units available.
Accessibility via junction 9 of the M2 makes it easy to reach the center which is located between Southampton and Portsmouth and is next to a Tesco supermarket. Some of the other stores include banks and independent retailers, with parking spaces for 1355 cars.
