At just 20 minutes in the ferry from Manhattan, this 100 store outlet is expected to attract big crowds when it opens in November 2017. There will be plenty of interesting food and drink options along the waterfront, as well as a boutique hotel with stunning views of New York City from its rooftop lounge.
City Point Brooklyn – New YorkThis massive project in downtown Brooklyn is another development that seems to have been on the horizon for some years. As part of the overall mixed-use project here, there is a big retail complex that is now partially open for business.

Westfield Century City – Los Angeles, CA
Rather than an entirely new mall, this is a massive $800 million expansion project at a center that was originally opened to the public back in 1964 under the name of the Century Shopping Center. The current changes have been on the drawing board for a while, and later in 2017, they should finally be completed.

With 250,000 square feet to fill there are sure to be some big name tenants to come in, although the developers have admitted to being “picky” about who they choose.
