The Amsterdam-based fashion brand Scotch & Soda plans to expand its retail network by opening 15 free-standing stores and seven corners in large stores. The openings will take place in Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, and the Middle East.
According to Yahoo Finance, the stores will open under both corporate management and franchisees. Cities where Scotch & Soda will open include Paris, Madrid, Gothenburg, Bucharest, and Stuttgart in Europe and Riyadh, Mumbai, Perth, and Philadelphia.
In addition, the brand's first digital store on Tmall in China is preparing to open fully. To support the promotion of the brand within the Celestial Empire, social media accounts were created on Weibo, Little Red Book, WeChat, and Douyin. Scotch & Soda also plans to open physical stores in key cities in the country.
According to CEO Frederick Lukoff, despite the "challenges posed by the retail pandemic," the company "continues to expand our retail network globally, strengthening our presence in existing markets and entering new ones, such as China.
In Europe, Scotch & Soda will open, including a flagship store in Paris and a second store in historic Madrid. Germany will also see the opening of its first partner store in Stuttgart and a mono store in Dortmund, bringing the total number of stores in the country to 34.
In the U.S., Scotch & Soda will open two new direct-to-consumer stores at King of Prussia near Philadelphia and SouthPark Mall in Charlotte.
Since the beginning of 2021, the company has opened 34 mono-brand stores and 27 corners. By the end of the year, with the new openings, the total number of Scotch & Soda outlets under management will reach 249 mono stores and 280 corners. In total, the brand is present today in 7 thousand stores in 70 countries.
