In celebration of the anniversary of the Galaxy line, the South Korean giant Samsung announced its intention to open a network of retail stores in the United States.
The company opens three Samsung Experience Store stores in various shopping centers in the country. One will be located at the Americana at Brand in Los Angeles, the other at Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island in Garden City, New York, and the third at the Galleria in Houston, Texas. The opening of all the stores was timed to the Galaxy UNPACKED 2019 event, which included the latest Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Fold smartphones.
And from March this year, the company also plans to start opening pop-up stores in other shopping centers across the country. Samsung expects that the emergence of retail outlets will help to successfully compete with Apple, whose stores are present in the US everywhere.
The Samsung Experience Store stores will allow customers to familiarize themselves with all the latest Samsung products, including Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and wearables, as well as TVs and smart home appliances. In the same place, users can receive service. It is also expected that the stores will become meeting centers for fans of the company's products.
Previously, the company has already opened a demo point in the United States. However, they were not engaged in sales.
