Stores Nike Unite will offer customers a specially selected assortment of products for the region and designs with local colors.
Nike has developed a new retail concept called Nike Unite to offer customers an even more personalized experience. The new retail spaces' main idea will be to unite buyers through love for sports and a commitment to connecting local communities.
New stores express focus on local interests in literally every possible way. The brand adapts each store individually to local actualities. The design will include access to resident attractions, maps, stands with information about significant historical events related to sports, as well as images of famous athletes from their hometowns. There will also be a range of products selected individually for each location, taking into account seasonal changes.
One of the key factors in community support is that the company plans to hire predominantly residents. The localization will concern not only physical stores but also their sites.
As reported on the official Nike website: "Nike Unite exists to serve and glorify those who serve in our local community, and each store is designed to be a reflection of their hearts and spirits."
Nike Unite stores have already opened in South Korea, Britain, and the United States. Five stores have already opened in total, and by the end of 2020, four more will open their doors. Shortly it is scheduled to increase the number of U.S. stores and open two retail outlets in Beijing.
