IKEA offered its customers almost free apartments for rent

The furniture giant offered the residents of Tokyo to live in apartments of 10 square meters.

The Japanese division of IKEA has launched the "Tiny Homes" service to inspire its customers to buy furniture and accessories for small apartments. The furniture giant has offered members in the Land of the Rising Sun to live in 10 square meter apartments for only 99 yen.

This way, IKEA wants to show that you can live comfortably by using functional furniture, storage systems, and interior items, even in a tiny apartment. The two-level apartments offered to customers include a small bedroom, a workspace, a bathroom, and a set of necessary appliances. 



The apartments IKEA has offered for rent are located in the central Tokyo district of Shinjuku. The offer applies to active members of the IKEA Family Club. To participate in the program, you need to register on the website and submit the appropriate application. Under the "Tiny Homes" promotion, the apartments will be rentable until mid-January 2023.
